Why do female drivers get the better deal with car insurance? Well, in spite of all the stereotypical jokes about women behind the wheel, the fact of the matter is that car insurance companies consider them left of a risk. This is statistically true. Statistics show that, for all intents and purpose, women are safer drivers.
For one thing, the factors that make this true are as follows:
- Women do not drive as often as men; because they do not spend as much time driving, they do not put as much mileage on their vehicles on an annual basis.
- Women are involved in less accidents than men; they are involved in fifty percent less accidents, and those accidents result in less bodily harm and/or property damage because women drive at slower speeds.
- Women do not commit as many crimes with their vehicles.
- Women obey traffic laws more consistently than men.
